Tap onto the annotation layer to select it (Contacts,Ā Structures,Ā POIĀ orĀ Scribbles) & then simply draw onto the face photograph or LiDAR scan using the Apple Pencil Pro (recommended) or finger.
ā¹ļøĀ Please readĀ this articleĀ to learn more about setting up your own annotation layers.Ā
ForĀ georeferencedĀ face photographs and LiDAR scans, 3D coordinates of all drawn lines & points are automatically computed in the background and stored in theĀ [FaceID]_mapping.csv / dxf andĀ [FaceID]_mapping_3D.csv / dxfĀ file.
šĀ Geotechnical Mapping / Rock Mass Assessment
Rock Mapper has a dedicated tool for Geotechnical Assessments based on the Q System (Barton et al 1974). It can be accessed via the Q button in the lower right corner on the Mapping page. For more details about the Q system, pleaseĀ download the freely available Q System Handbook from the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI).
Rock Mapper allows to configure individual Rock Mass Zones. For each Rock Mass Zone, a Q value is automatically calculated based on the selected values for RQD, JR, Jw, Jn, Ja and SRF which are presented to the user in pre-configured lists.Ā
Additionally, one or more Rock Support Classifications can be configured in the settings to match your requirements.Ā
For any other Q System related information, users can configure their own report fields (as type text field, single select pick list and multi-select pick list). Go to Settings > Q System > Q Report Fields.
