  - Double-tap to set rotational point on 3D LiDAR scan (especially handy for larger scans).
  - Rock Mass Quality (Q System) and Rock Mass Rating (RMR89) tables added: Get a quick overview of rock mass quality and rating ranges. 
  - New About section in Settings: Quickly check app version, iOS version, iPad model, available storage and access our Knowledge Base.
  - New text labels for 3D LiDAR scans (see screenshot below): Better readability due to optimised text overlap and improved scaling behaviour. 
  - Major Upload / Download improvements: Improved upload preparation and info plus smart queuing for downloads including download counter.
  - Magnetic compass improvements: Improved accuracy (in preparation for the digital geological compass feature coming in version 3.5).
  - ❗Relaxed formatting rules for Survey_Points.csv and Laser_Stations.csv: If text or numbers in CSVs are in quotation marks, then Rock Mapper will now handle them. 
  - Memory / storage handling improvements: Better managing large files (such as LiDAR scans) and allow user to manually clear cache by using Delete All button in Settings.
  - Local Mode licence check improvements: Files can now be accessed and shared completely offline for up to 48 hours after the last connection to the Rock Mapper Cloud.
  - Retain local settings: When opening third-party or external rock faces, any annotation layers that aren’t already configured in the settings will no longer be added automatically.
  - Auto-expanding comment field for POIs: Easy input of long text for POIs.
  - New, unified design and layout for processing screen: Cleaner UI, better UX :)
  - Filled Area value for 3D LiDAR scan domains now included in Sampling Report PDF.
  - ❗[FaceID]_area.csv changes: Sampling domain AREA_PCT and AREA_PCT_FILLED values are now saved with four decimal places to prevent rounding issues when adding them up.
  - ❗Sampling data assigned to non-georeferenced LiDAR scans now included in rock face ZIP file (previously only available if scan was fully georeferenced). 
  - Improved Apple Pencil behaviour for LiDAR scans: Tapping outside the scan now allows the user to rotate it using the Apple Pencil.
  - Quick way to erase all mapping annotations: Simply long-press eraser button.

IMPORTANT. Before updating to version 3.4, please follow these steps:

1. Upload OR export all rock faces and back up all your data (save the original ZIP files on your PC).
2. Make sure that you are running the latest version of iPadOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check. 
3. Make sure to perform step 1 and 2 on all your devices.
