Intro
All data captured in Rock Mapper is transferred to / from the device via the Rock Mapper Cloud (subscription required).Ā
ā¹ļø The Cloud Account is solely used for data transfer, not long-term storage or processing. All data processing and compiling of files (CSV, PDF, OBJ) is performed directly on the iPad.Ā
Workflow
Press theĀ UploadĀ button in the upper left corner on theĀ Rock Face Gallery PageĀ to upload any new or changed rock faces to the Rock Mapper Cloud account (internet connection required). The number indicates how many project are going to be uploaded (unchanged or already uploaded projects won't be included).Āā¹ļøĀ The cloud symbol in the upper right corner of the thumbnail indicates if the project has been uploaded or not.
During the upload you will see an upload progress bar and theĀ Uploaded %Ā is displayed.
You can also upload selected rock faces by first tapping the Select button in the upper right, then pick the rock faces that you'd like to upload and finally tap Upload in the lower left corner.Ā
If you'd like to upload just one individual rock face, then there are two options available :
1.Ā By directly tapping the cloud symbol in the upper right corner of the thumbnail. This will initiateĀ force upload.
2. By long-pressing the thumbnail and then tapping Upload
ā¹ļøĀ Please note that if a rock face with the same Face ID already exists on the server, then it will be overwritten. If you want to upload a copy of the project, then first duplicate it (long press onto thumbnail to open options menu) and then upload the duplicated rock face.Ā
