Handy hints when using Scribble
Scribble is Appleās handwriting recognition that allows you to handwrite into any textbox in Rock Mapper. The text is the automatically converted into typed text. Here are some handy hints to give you the best possible user experience:
- Entering alphanumerical data (such as a sample name N214578)
1. Only write letter N into text field and wait until it is recognized
2. Then write the number 214578
- When trying to write a capital letter, handwrite it larger than the input box. It will then help the app to recognize it as a capital letter.Ā
- If handwriting/scribble fails, you can always just tap with your finger into the text box and then the on-screen keyboard will appear.
